There will be plenty of activities both days for children and adults alike. The two-day fest plans to bring free, family-friendly fun to all.
Both days, guests will be entertained by a tractor parade and the Native American Niagara River Dancers. Also, car lovers can enjoy a Volkswagen car cruise on Saturday and a classic car cruise on Sunday.
On Saturday, the day begins with a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. Following the ceremony, the Parkside Avenue Brass Quintet will provide music from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The River Dancers will follow, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. During the dancing, kids activities will run from noon to 3 p.m. Kids activities include a dinosaur dig, pig toss and a duck hunt.
Also slated for Saturday, the Symmetrical Band will entertain from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. At 2 p.m., the tractor parade will begin and the day will wrap up from 3 to 5 p.m. with Eddies Organ Band.
On Sunday, the fest starts with a French toast breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. The Whatsie Band will also provide musical entertainment from 10 to 11:15 a.m. The River Dancers will be back at the same time Sunday, and Fyfe & Drum will play from noon to 1 p.m. Also, at 12:30 p.m., the Town of Lewiston Police Canine Unit will be on hand until 1 p.m. The tractor parade and make-your-own sundae begins at 1 p.m. More kids activities will run from noon to 3 p.m. and the Sanborn Fire Co. Band will play from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The two-day festival wraps up at 3 p.m. with the announcement of basket auction, money raffle and kids program winners.
There is plenty more to see and do at the festival. Families can see antique tractors, participate in a tractor driven wagon ride, check out artisans, a flea market, quench hunger with a bake sale and several food and produce vendors, visit the farm museum's exhibits and see what Wild Kritters of Niagara County has in store.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the farm museum, as well as future projects.
