DA Flynn appointed to serve on National District Attorney Association board of directors

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn has been selected to serve as an at-large member of the board of directors for the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA). The appointment comes 19 months after Flynn was elected as Erie County district attorney.
The mission of the NDAA is "to be the voice of America's prosecutors and support their efforts to protect the rights and the safety of the people." The primary purpose of the NDAA is to foster and maintain the integrity of the prosecuting attorneys in both large and small jurisdictions of the U.S. Representatives of the NDAA, which is governed by a board of directors, meet with the Department of Justice, members of Congress and other national associations to represent the views of prosecutors to influence federal policies and programs that affect law enforcement and prosecution.
Earlier this year, Flynn was appointed to serve on the board of directors of the District Attorneys Association of the State of New York (DAASNY).
