Introducing Phillips WD Bar & Grille
WD Bar & Grille inside Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino announced Monday its partnership with Phillips Seafood. More than 100 years of Phillips Seafood heritage now resides in Western New York and can only be "caught" at Phillips WD Bar & Grille.
The Phillips Seafood tradition began a century ago on Hoopers Island. The A.E Phillips & Son processing plant sourced wild crabs, fish and oysters from the Chesapeake Bay. In 1956, the Phillips family created a built-in market for its surplus crabs by opening the first Phillips Seafood Restaurant in Ocean City, Maryland. Business grew quickly and expanded into new markets and new locations.
"We are thrilled to be able to partner with such a terrific brand. It's been exciting putting this together and will be even more exciting to deliver this co-branded experience to our guests. Phillips Seafood and The Western Door. Phillips world famous crab cake and premium seafood meets Buffalo's premier steakhouse WD Bar & Grille," said Steve Phillips, CEO of Phillips Seafood.
Holly Gagnon, CEO, Seneca Gaming Corp., said, "Today we unite family-owned and -operated Phillips Seafood with our own Seneca family. Phillips has been in the seafood business for over a century and the Seneca Nation has become synonymous for their steakhouse brand, The Western Door. Phillips at WD Bar & Grille is the perfect pairing: signature steaks and seafood."
Patrons can expect all their favorite WD steaks, sides and signature dishes with the addition of the freshest raw bar, jumbo shrimp and "the world's most famous crab cakes."
Phillips Seafood is anchored in tradition and remains family owned and operated by the Phillips family for over a century. Phillips Seafood serves premium quality seafood, provides outstanding service, and creates a memorable experience for seafood lovers everywhere.
