New flagpole installed at Wheatfield Commons

Recently, a brand new flag poll was installed at Wheatfield Commons just in time for Flag Day.
Wheatfield Commons' veterans and residents helped dedicate the flag pole and new flag on Memorial Day, waving their red, white and blue banners and singing patriotic songs.
President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed June 14 as Flag Day in 1916, making this year's holiday the 241st anniversary of the adoption of the official flag of the United States.
