Presented by NU Theatre for Young Audiences
From July 19-28, Niagara University Theatre will continue its mission to present engaging, delightful theater for young audiences productions with "Click, Clack, Moo," presented by The Friends of Niagara University Theatre.
Based on the popular and award-winning book, "Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type" by Doreen Cronin, this musical "will be sure to moo-ve you." Farmer Brown has a pleasant, peaceful, productive farm - or so he thinks. The animals are unhappy with their cold barn at night. He does not speak cow, duck or hen, but when they discover a typewriter and teach themselves to communicate, the musical shenanigans begin.
"Click, Clack, Moo" will be directed by Niagara University's Department of Theatre and Fine Arts Director Steve Braddock and associate professor Terri Filips Vaughan, with choreography by Vaughan. Music direction is by assistant professor Bridget Moriarty, costume design by associate professor Maureen Stevens and scenic design by associate professor David Dwyer.
Cast and crew members include: NU theater students Sonia Angeli, Ashton Decaro, Skylah Fields, Zach Gammel, K Gorny (stage manager), Audrey Grout, Michael Kelleher, Justin Pope, Kayla Reumann and Ronnie Stewart.
"Click, Clack, Moo" will be performed at the Leary Theatre in the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre on the NU campus at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19; Fridays, July 20 and 27; and Saturday, July 21. An afternoon production will be presented at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. For early risers, the production will be staged at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, and Saturday, July 28.
Reservations are not required for this free production.
