Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Gallagher of Grand Island passed on Nov. 18, 2017, at the age of 83.
She was born in Eganville, Ontario, Canada, and lived on Grand Island for the past 57 years. She was married to the late Desmond Gallagher for 60 years. Kathy was a nurse for 35 years at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in the Cardiac Care Unit. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and always put them first. Being a nurse, caring for her family, and serving St. Stephen R.C. Church is what she loved most.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Patrick) McLaughlin; and by her sons: Dean (Daneen) Gallagher, John (Jamie) Gallagher, and Michael (Lisa) Gallagher. She was the grandmother of Joseph, Patrick, Mick, Holly, Natalie, Ty, Colin, Patrick, Shannon and the late Kevin.
