Winnipeg Jets can advance to Western Conference Final with Game 6 win vs. Nashville
NBC Sports' exclusive coverage of the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs continues tonight with a doubleheader on NBCSN beginning at 7 p.m. ET, as the (1) Washington Capitals look to advance to the Eastern Conference Final for the first time in the Alex Ovechkin era with a Game 6 win against rival Sidney Crosby and the (2) Pittsburgh Penguins.
Both the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins and the defending Western Conference champion Nashville Predators hope to stave off elimination. On NBCSN, the Game 6 doubleheader continues at 9:30 p.m. when Patrik Laine and the (2) Winnipeg Jets host P.K. Subban and the (1) Predators. Pre-game coverage begins at 6 p.m. on NBCSN with "NHL Live."
"NHL on NBC" studio analyst Jeremy Roenick will join the broadcast team of Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play), AJ Mleczko (analyst), and Brian Boucher ("Inside-the-Glass" analyst) on-site in Winnipeg. Roenick will rove throughout Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg and showcase the passionate Jets fanbase that drives the infamous "Winnipeg Whiteout."
