'Penguin Days' returns to Aquarium of Niagara

The Aquarium of Niagara's annual "Penguin Days" event returns on Saturday and Sunday, April 14-15. Guests can enjoy group penguin encounters, and discover all there is to know about Humboldt penguins without any glass in between. During this special event, the penguins will be on stage right in front of people.
This year, the Aquarium of Niagara us celebrating a new exhibit: "Penguin Coast." At "Penguin Days," visitors can spend a day creating their own "penguin painting," treating injured penguins in the children's vet center, learning what it's like to prepare the penguins' food and taking a photo with Beaker.
" 'Penguin Days' is such a loved tradition at the aquarium and this year it is even more special because it marks Penguin Coast's one-month anniversary," said Richelle Swem, curator of animal care. "Visit with Opus and her friends in their brand-new home!"
Group encounters and activities are included with general admission. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls.
