Fashion Outlets food, clothing drive for Community Missions

Fri, Mar 23rd 2018 04:00 pm
Macerich's Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls, USA, is running a food and clothing drive to benefit Community Missions of Niagara Frontier. Customers who make a donation now through March 29 will receive a free savings pass ($5 retail value) and retailer offers.
"Community Missions does incredible work for the Niagara region. In 2017, they provided more than 109,000 meals and nearly 7,000 individuals with clothing, among many other items. They truly rely on donations to continue providing for and doing great work for this community," said John Doran, senior manager of Macerich's Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls.
Shoppers and community members interested in making a donation can do so at Fashion Outlets' guest services desk. Items being accepted include canned/nonperishable food items, personal care items, and clothing items (new/gently used).
"We are so thankful for the Fashion Outlets' initiative of helping our guests through food and clothing donations," said Christian Hoffman, director of communication for Community Missions. "This is a time of year that we typically do not receive a lot of donations, as people are so generous during the holiday season. These efforts will help us to restock our shelves for those that come to us in need each day."
Fashion Outlets retailers are also taking part in a "retailer challenge" by joining together to see which team brings in the most donations. The winning retailer team will receive lunch paid for by Fashion Outlets.
