Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Niagara Falls will look to break Guinness World Records title for largest marriage vow renewal ceremony

All married couples invited to register today to be part of history
Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on Monday announced an official Guinness World Records title attempt for largest marriage vow renewal ceremony. The event is set for Saturday, June 23.
Area community partners, including Destination Niagara USA, Old Falls Street USA and Niagara Falls State Park, are working together to help make this attempt a success for all of Niagara Falls. The official ceremony is set to take place on Goat Island in Niagara Falls - also known to many as the "Honeymoon Capital of the World."
To participate, married couples can register for the event online at www.senecaniagaracasino.com/vowrenewal in order. All registrants need to meet the eligibility requirements set forth by Guinness World Records in order to participate in the official title attempt. Couples must provide a photocopy of their marriage certificate as part of the requirement.
Seneca Niagara is seeking thousands of couples to register for this event. The current Guinness World Records title stands at 1,201 couples, set by Western Michigan University on Oct. 8, 2016.
In addition to being a part of making history, participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, certificate of participation, a free buffet at Thunder Falls Buffet, and a reception celebration at STIR inside Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino.
