Diabetes workshop and Microsoft Word basics programs coming to NT Library

People living with diabetes or caring for someone with the disease can attend the North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive, from 9:30 a.m. to noon starting Wednesday, Feb. 28, for a six-week workshop series.
The program is facilitated by the Niagara County Department of Health. Registration for the workshop is required. The workshop is free and open to the public. To register, call 278-1900.
Also, the library is offering a variety of computer classes to fit many interests and ability levels. From 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, the library will offer a Microsoft Word basics class, followed by Word intermediate from 4-7 p.m. Attendees can learn how to type and format letters, flyers and resumes and. They will also learn how to save work and use the cut, copy and paste features.
The course is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Contact the library at 716-693-4132, ext. 4, to register or stop by the information desk.
