Rend Collective gears up to continue world tour, headlining shows in UK
"Good News," the latest from Irish band Rend Collective, is available now. The widely praised 15-track release includes "Marching On," a collaboration with Hillsong Young & Free, along with Rend Collective's hit single, "Rescuer (Good News)," which has already hit Top 10 on both AC indicator and national audience chart, and has been added by major stations including K-LOVE, Air1, WAY-FM, KSBJ and more reaching an audience of over 2.8M weekly listeners, with almost 3M views of the song's official music video on YouTube.
Already hitting No. 1 on iTunes Christian and gospel album chart, and No. 4 on iTunes overall album chart, "Good News" has also hit Top 10 on iTunes in both the U.K. and Canada, now currently the No. 3 top downloaded album on iTunes in the world.
Rend Collective will kick off the next leg of their "Good News Tour" on Feb. 1 in Stoke. Hitting 19 cities throughout the U.K., the band has already sold-out major markets including Bath and Southampton. For the latest tour schedule, visit https://rendcollective.com.
Hailing from a small town off the coast of Northern Ireland, Rend Collective (Gareth Gilkeson, Chris Llewellyn, Ali Gilkeson, Patrick Thompson and Stephen Mitchell) wants to be known as a celebration band, worshiping for God's Glory and fame. Since the release of their first album, "Organic Family Hymnal," the group's authentic and energetic style of worship has attracted an international audience, with career sales of more than 300,000 albums. The group saw early success as their first single, "Build Your Kingdom Here," peaked at No. 12 on the national Christian audience chart. The band has been a part of several major tours with top artists such as Chris Tomlin, MercyMe, Kari Jobe and Lecrae. The group released critically acclaimed "As Family We Go" in 2015, followed by "Campfire Christmas Volume 1," their first Christmas record, and "Campfire II," both in 2016.
