Nurse practitioner joins NFMMC behavioral health team

Char'lese Perry, a doctorate prepared psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, has joined the staff at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Perry, who will provide inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services at the center, is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo where she earned both her doctorate in advanced psychiatric/mental health nursing practice and a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She also attended Canisius College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.
Perry most recently worked for University Psychiatric Practice, where she worked with clients in corrections and forensic/mental health as well as clients in long-term care. As a nurse, she worked in an intermediate level care unit and has a history of working as a residential counselor for clients diagnosed with co-morbid mental health disorders and with teenage moms.
Perry is an active member of the American Nurses Association.
