The Youngstown Business and Professional Association held its quarterly membership meeting Tuesday at Ray's Tavern. At the well-attended session, YBPA officials and members discussed a number of association events in planning for 2018. Included were the Lew-Port School District's current "One District, One Book" shared reading initiative, a community effort involving students, families, local libraries and businesses; the seventh annual O'Riordan St. Patrick's Day Parade and the Youngstown Lions annual Cash Bash, both March 17; the annual Niagara River Chamber of Commerce awards banquet, returning this April to the Niagara Falls Country Club in Lewiston; this summer's Free Friday Night Concert Series at Falkner Park, coordinated by YBPA board member Dotty Riordan; and planning for YBPA's annual "Welcome to Youngstown" brochure.
