Since 1998, Dr. Thomas Notaro has been practicing chiropractic medicine in this area. On Thursday, he and his wife and office manager Jodi Notaro cut the ribbon to a new 1,200-square-foot expansion at his Niagara Falls location.
The Niagara Falls office located in the Town of Wheatfield is one of three locations. Notaro Chiropractic has additional practices located in Grand Island and East Amherst. The Niagara Falls location has been open for three years, making the expansion rather quick for a newer business.
Notaro opened his first practice in Grand Island in 2006 and started with just his wife and himself. Today they have three practice locations, and a staff of 27 including eight doctors, seven massage therapists and 12 front-end staff.
The 1,200-square-foot expansion includes several massage therapy and acupuncture rooms and also made it possible to add more chiropractic rooms in the original establishment.
Jodi said the new suite is very relaxing, the massage rooms are spacious and there is even a couple's massage room. Jodi was excited about the expansion and the additional services they are able to offer.
"It's great, only being here for three years and to be able to expand our location we definitely focus on our patients and that's the most important thing and keeps our business growing," she said.
In addition, Jodi said patients can expect a warm, friendly environment and excellent quality care from the providers and staff. They have chiropractic services, nutrition and Graston chiropractic at all of the locations. In addition to chiropractic, they also offer massage therapy services such as deep tissue massage, hot stone, cupping, reflexology and facial rejuvenation cupping. Dr. Frank Tang offers acupuncture services within the practices as well.
Jodi mentioned there are good specials going on at the moment, such as buy one massage, get another half off. She also said the offices take most insurances including Blue Cross, Independent Health, Aetna, United Health, Medicare, Nova, GHI, no-fault (auto) and workers' compensation. Some plans even cover massage and acupuncture services for a $15 co-pay. They also take no fault insurance, so if a person is injured in a car accident the chiropractic, massage and acupuncture are covered with a $0 co-payment.
The Notaros said, "The main focus is on people and the patients come first, so being able to provide multiple services at each of our locations makes it easier for our patients to get the treatments they need."
All locations are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and from 8 a.m. until noon Saturdays. Jodi said, "The doctors and therapists provide excellent quality care in a warm and friendly environment and you can expect nothing but the best from our group."
