Town of Niagara Democrat Incumbent Charles F. Teixeira announced he will be seeking re-election for councilman on the Town of Niagara Town Board.
While being on the Town Board, Teixeira said he successfully:
•Worked with the town police department to install an emergency phone on the walking path and security cameras throughout the Veterans Memorial Community Park.
•Was a driving force behind updating the playground equipment at all the pocket parks.
•Worked closely with all departments in the Town of Niagara to keep taxes low and stay under the 2 percent tax cap.
•Continuously working to improve the infrastructure of the town.
•Worked with police and fire departments ensuring they have the tools to keep the community safe.
"I Charles Teixeira, am humbled and honored to have been able to serve and be a voice for the residents in the town," he said. "I am asking for your support to be re-elected in order to continue working hard to make the Town of Niagara a better community for all residents."
The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
