Buffalo Sabres: Game-worn jersey auction running until Oct. 29

The Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday announced the team is holding a game-worn jersey auction that will start at 5 p.m. The auction will be held at auction.NHL.com until 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
The jerseys available for bidding include set three of the game-worn home and road jerseys from the 2016-17 season, highlighted by Jack Eichel and Ryan O'Reilly. This set will also include the NHL 100th anniversary sleeve patch logo. All jerseys will come with a certificate of authenticity.
The Buffalo Sabres Foundation mission statement reads, "To identify and support local organizations which share our core objectives: serving children and military personnel, caring for the sick, assisting physically and mentally challenged athletes, and supporting youth hockey initiatives. By utilizing financial resources and community influence, the Buffalo Sabres Foundation assists these organizations and their beneficiaries in realizing their highest potential and succeeding in their endeavors."
