The 60th annual Niagara County Peach Festival is taking place this weekend at Academy Park. Sponsored by the Lewiston Kiwanis Club, the four-day event is a major fundraiser used to raise monies for local educational and community endeavors.
Once again, Amusements of America is providing the rides and games of chance, while local vendors will sell an assortment of foods. Of note, Bittner-Singer Orchards is bringing more than 10,000 pounds of fresh peaches, which will be paired with DiCamillo Bakery biscuits and cream for the Peach Festival's signature peach shortcake.
