'Battle of the Businesses' at annual OUN bartending event

Proceeds to benefit individuals with developmental disabilities
The Brickyard Pub & B.B.Q. is hosting Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara's annual "Celebrity Bartending" event - this year dubbed "Battle of the Businesses" - from 5:30-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17. The event will benefit the more than 600 individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities whom the agency supports.
This year, local industries will compete against each another to see which business can raise the most money. Participating companies include realty, banks and construction.
On hand to serve up beverages as celebrity bartenders will be former Buffalo Sabres player Andrew Peters and "97 Rock" morning personality Rich "Bull" Gaenzler. Chris Borgatti & Friends will provide entertainment.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling Cindy Hyde at 716-297-6400, ext. 335; online at www.oppunlimited.org; or at the door the day of the event. Price includes admission, entertainment and buffet. There will also be a basket auction and other special drawings attendees can participate in during the evening. 
The Brickyard is located at 432 Center St., Lewiston.
