The Lewiston/Niagara-On-The-Lake Rotary Club once again participated in the Lewiston Art Festival. The organization has been serving hot dogs at the event for more than 40 years. This tradition was started by Al DiMino, one of founders of the Tops supermarket chain.
Pictured with the Rotary's Dr. Thomas Gerbasi - in his famous hot dog hat - is Al's son, Anthony DiMino, owner of Lewiston Tops.
Gerbasi said, "It is because of the continued support of the DiMino family that Rotary is able to donate the funds generated from the endeavor to the Mount St. Mary's Hospital maternity unit for the purchase of needed medical equipment. Rotary extends its most sincere thanks to Anthony DiMino for his dedication to the tradition begun by his dad so many years ago! Anthony is a true friend to Rotary and the Lewiston community."
