The Pittsburgh Penguins will face the Nashville Predators in the 2017 Stanley Cup Final. Game 1 will take place on Monday, May 29, at 8 p.m. ET, on NBC at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. Pre-game coverage begins at 6 p.m. on NBCSN with a two-hour edition of "NHL Live."
The defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins advanced to the Stanley Cup Final with a dramatic 3-2 double-overtime win on Thursday night on NBCSN in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Ottawa Senators - the first time a Game 7 required double overtime since 1994. Pittsburgh's Chris Kunitz scored the game-winning goal 5:05 in into the second overtime, his second goal of the game, after 34 consecutive games without a goal.
Nashville advanced to its first Stanley Cup Final in franchise history on Monday night with a 6-3 win against the Anaheim Ducks in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final. They were led by Colton Sissons' hat trick.
