On Saturday, April 8, the Aquarium of Niagara will host its annual "SEAster" event. Guests can visit with the Easter Bunny, participate in "egg-speriments," enjoy Easter-themed crafts and try to find the hidden eggs in the tanks (and use those eggs to decode a hidden message to win a prize).

New this year, the aquarium is holding the "Jell-O Egg Seal and Sea Lion Toss." For $5, one can have the unique chance to toss a Jell-O egg to a favorite marine mammal. The toss times are 10:40 and 11:20 a.m., and 1:20 and 2:40 p.m.

Only 70 eggs will be sold. All of the proceeds will go toward the Marine Mammal Care Center in San Pedro, California, and the Riverhead Foundation in Long Island - rescue centers the aquarium staff has have worked with before.

"We look forward to 'SEAster' every year," said Alyssa Shepherd, aquarist I. "We have so much fun hiding the eggs in the tanks for the kids to find, and seeing everyone so happy after visiting the Easter Bunny."

Visit http://www.aquariumofniagara.org/special-events for more information. "SEAster" is included with regular admission.

The Aquarium of Niagara is located at 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls.
