The Buffalo Zoo has teamed up with Arctic Edge presenting sponsor Tops Friendly Markets to offer a unique frozen food month promotion leading to discounted admission.

For the remainder of the month of March, the Buffalo Zoo will offer visitors the opportunity to save $5 off of their total admission. Guests who purchase a Tops-brand frozen food item during the month will be able to show their receipt as proof of purchase at the zoo's gates to receive their discount.

This discount is limited to one receipt redemption per visit, and is not valid with any other promotional offers.

"Tops and the Buffalo Zoo have had a longstanding partnership for many years, which we really appreciate. It's very exciting that their industry has this feature month, which is in complete alignment with their habitat sponsorship," Buffalo Zoo Marketing Director Todd Geise said. "We are always looking for fresh, new and unique ways to keep the zoo top of mind, particularly during the winter months."

Arctic Edge is a habitat that focuses exclusively on the frozen tundra of the Arctic Region and the multitude of species that live there. It features the polar bear couple Luna and Sakari, an Arctic fox and Eurasian lynx. Along with the live animals, the Conservation and Interpretive Center provides guests with a host of education information and interactives about the Arctic Region, and what consumers can do in their daily lives to promote environmental sustainability.

The Buffalo Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Grounds remain open for one hour after admission gates close. For more information, visit www.buffalozoo.org.
