Red was certainly the color of the day on Feb. 3 as associates from throughout Mount St. Mary's took part in the annual American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" heart disease awareness day.
The monthlong awareness event continued this week with a series of displays in the lobby. The community lipid panel screening is slated for Sunday, Feb. 12, and a community awareness program by cardiologists Dr. Zina Hajduczok and Dr. Benjamin Rueda will take place in the hospital cafeteria at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28.
