Perinatal bereavement ceremony at Mount St. Mary's

Associates and members of the community gathered at Mount St. Mary's on Friday for a special perinatal bereavement ceremony. October is Perinatal Bereavement Month.

Led by the maternity staff and spiritual care at the hospital, the hospital chapel was the location of a brief service to recognize infants who have passed.

The group then moved to the Garden of the Blessed Mother outside the main entrance of the hospital for a symbolic balloon launch (pictured).
