More than 150 people participated in the second "Amazing Grace Scavenger Hunt" Saturday, May 9, in the Village of Lewiston. The event, coordinated by the Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, raised more than $7,000 for the creation of a helipad at Mount St. Mary's.

Co-Chairwomen Kate Cumbo of Lewiston and Allison Violante of Lewiston led the effort, which attracted 19 teams comprised of at least five members each. The teams were provided with questions and clues with answers found in businesses and various locations throughout the village.

Following the two-hour event, everyone gathered at Bailey O'Riley's Village Pub, where the team representing Cannon Design was declared the winner.

Sponsors of the event included: Niacet Corp., Aries Transportation, Cannon Design, Compu-Mail, Dr. Jude Violante, Kinetic Kitchen and Bath, the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce, Munro-Burns Wealth Management, Sevenson, Stuart Sports, doctors Thomas Cumbo and Philip Sauvageau, and Washington Mills.
