All individuals age 14 and above with a developmental disability living in or attending school/program in Niagara County are invited to tryout for the upcoming Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara talent show.
"Opportunities Got Talent," an annual occasion featuring the aptitudes of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities through song, dance, theater and comedy, showcased in a competitive format, will take place Sunday, Nov. 23, at the Historic Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda. Individual and group performers are invited to audition.
The event is open to the public. This talent show affords people with musical or theatrical talents a public opportunity for expression under the direction of James Matteson and the agency's recreation department. A panel of judges from the community selects the winners.
Application forms must be returned by Aug. 22 for participants to be eligible for the mandatory auditions, which will be held in September. Download forms at 716-www.opportunitiesunlimited.org/news-entry/seeking-talent-show-participants1, or call JoAnn at 297-6400. Forms also can be obtained from any OUN administrative building.
