Niagara University's College of Education is inviting the community to participate in its annual "Trick r' Treat Monster Reader" program on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The event will link literacy skills to various Halloween activities, such as a spooky story-writing center, a Halloween read-aloud, arts and crafts stations, and interactive Smart board games.

Children will also make their way through a spooky maze in which they must dodge Halloween objects, such as pumpkins, skeletons, monsters, ghosts and witches.

Activities are designed for children ages 4 to 12. Refreshments will be served.

The event is presented by the Institute of Applied Learning, the professional development arm of Niagara's College of Education.

To RSVP, call 716-286-8309 or email [email protected].
