The Shawnee Sno-Chiefs Snowmobile Club Inc. will hold its 15th annual Snowmobile Grass Drags/ATV Races/Vintage Snowmobile Show and Swap Meet on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Shawnee Volunteer Fire Co., 3747 Lockport Road, Sanborn.
Snowmobiles will be racing on grass with speeds exceeding 100 mph over a four-lane track with professional racing lights and computer timing.
Challenge racing will be held at the end of the day for $5 per run, with the proceeds donated to charity.
ATV/motorcycle outlaw and bracket racing will be held all day.
Tables are $15 for the sled/bike/quad swap meet. Call Dan at 310-6582
Gates open at 8 a.m. Racing starts at noon. General admission is $5. Pit access is $5. Food and beverages will be sold on site. No coolers or grills allowed.
