Robert E. Brick of Grand Island died at the age of 91 on Aug. 28, 2013.
Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., to Charles and Nellie Brick, Robert was a World War II Coast Guard veteran and served on the U.S.S. Kirkpatrick for four years. He worked as a property accountant at Olin Corporation
He was a member at Trinity United Methodist Church on Grand Island for 42 years. He was married to Barbara Taylor Brick from 1961 until her death in 2000.
He is survived by his son, David Brick; daughter, Susan Kilkelly; and grandchildren, Brad, Amanda, Cait and Laurel.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Robert was held on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at the Duluth United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Homestead Hospice (678-966-0077). Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
