Audition initiative returns today at www.americanidol.com
On a quest to find the next singing superstar, "American Idol XIII" is once again expanding the audition opportunities by bringing back the "Nominate An Idol" program to look for talented singers who may not audition on their own. Family and friends may nominate individuals whom they think could be the next "American Idol" at www.americanidol.com, from now through Friday, Sept. 20.
Individuals can secretly nominate their friends or family by submitting the appropriate forms and video or URL of their "nominee" singing solo and a cappella. Chosen candidates may be surprised on location by a film crew and given the chance to advance to the next round of auditions. Submissions and nominations must comply with all rules and meet all eligibility requirements and be a surprise. To nominate someone, family and friends must read and agree to the terms and conditions. Keep checkingwww.americanidol.com for submission rules and terms and conditions.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and featuring judges Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban, along with in-house mentor Randy Jackson, "American Idol XIII" debuts in January 2014 on FOX.
