Where can you shop more than 60 booths of antiques and collectables, plus fine art by local artists and even attend a benefit auction, all in one place? It's the 2013 "Autumn in the Arena," happening this Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Kenan Center Arena, 433 Locust St., Lockport.

Admission is $3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or $6 for early birds at 9 a.m. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free. Discount admission coupons are available at many area locations or can be found at www.NiagaraArtTrail.com.

The auction begins at 4:30 and benefits the Niagara History Center. Absentee bids will be accepted throughout the day (one need not be present to be the winning bidder). Re-admission will be allowed with wristband, so patrons can shop the show earlier in the day and return for the auction at 4:30 p.m. There's also free local delivery of larger auction items offered by Antiques of Lockport.

As an added bonus, come in with your show wristband to Antiques of Lockport or Just Lookin' on Saturday, Sept. 14, or Sunday, Sept. 15, to receive a 20 percent discount on your purchases. Both stores are located on Main Street in Lockport.

There's plenty to do at the show besides shopping. There will be free presentations by local collectors, including WLVL's own Paul Oates, who will talk at 11 a.m. about Lockport Dairies & Milk Bottles. John Urtel will speak about Halloween collectables at 12:30 p.m. There's also a basket raffle to benefit the Kenan Center and History Center. The Learning Edge will offer supervised activities for children ages 3-10. A variety of food and beverages will be available.
