Memorial Medical Center completes new operating theater

New suite will increase medical center's surgical capacity

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center recently completed construction of a $366,000 operating room in the center's Hodge Building. The new facility, located in Memorial's women's health pavilion, will increase surgical capacity.

Use of the operating theater will be overseen by, from left, Renee Taefi Baughman, MD, FACOG, Memorial's chief of obstetrics and gynecology; Director of Perioperative Services Shelly Meigs, RN; and Women's Services Director Susan V. Martin, RN, BSN.
