Susan V. Martin, RN, BSN, has been appointed director of women's services at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center effective Aug. 19.
Her appointment was announced by Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Joanne Krolewski, RN, BSN.
A graduate of Niagara County Community College and Niagara University, Martin has spent her entire career in women's health services and has extensive experience in direct patient care, including critical care.
Martin is a former clinical team leader at Sisters of Charity Hospital, Buffalo, where she managed a 25-member OB/GYN staff. She most recently worked in the labor and delivery unit at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston.
She is certified in neonatal resuscitation and is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
