"The Chew" welcomes a diverse panel of guests next week (weekdays, 1 p.m., ABC).

Monday, Aug. 5 - "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" - Laila Ali makes shrimp and pepper bruschetta with Carla Hall; ESPN host Mike Greenberg joins Michael Symon to make corn fritters with cilantro lime yogurt and talk about his new book; and Clinton Kelly makes pomegranate freeze, summer sangria and strawberry-thyme chill cocktails.

Tuesday, Aug. 6 - "The Chew's Soda Shoppe" - Raul de Molina, aka El Gordo from the Univision hit "El Gordo y la Flaca," whips up ham and cheese melt and a peppermint black and white shake with Mario Batali; author Michael Pollan joins Daphne Oz and Batali to talk about his new book, "Cooked."

Wednesday, Aug. 7 - "The Best Breakfast I Ever Tasted" - Yvette Nicole Brown ("Community") is guest co-host; Symon makes a tasty Greek omelet; Kelly and Brown team up to make strawberry french toast; Batali recreates his personal favorite breakfast—Seattle style crab cake Benedict.

Thursday, Aug. 8 - "Hot Dog Days Of Summer" - Chef Curtis Stone guest co-hosts and makes Italian sausage and cheese roll with balsamic onions, mushrooms and capsicum; Symon makes "Dad's Hot Dog Hash"; Oz and Hallo face off with dueling desserts: sour cherry pudding pop vs. sour cherry yogurt pop.

Friday, Aug. 9 - "Extra Value Friday: Cash Back Cuisine" - Jamie Deen makes parmesan chicken cutlets and loaded veggie pasta salad with Hall and Oz; money-saving recipes include Kelly's roasted tomato dip and ambrosia dip and Batali's chickpea bruschetta with shaved vegetable salad.
