Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will hold its 22nd annual Niagara Cup Classic golf tournament on Tuesday at the Niagara Falls Country Club, 505 Mountain View Drive, Lewiston.

The tournament will tee off with a shotgun start at 7 a.m. A second flight will take to the links at 12:30 p.m.

One hundred and sixty-five golfers are expected to participate. More than 200 people are expected to attend the tournament's 5:30 p.m. cocktail reception and 6:15 p.m. awards dinner. A live and silent auction will take place during that time.

Since the inaugural tournament in 1992, the Niagara Cup has raised more than $1 million for medical equipment and health care programs at Memorial Medical Center. The tournament is presented by the Medical Center Foundation.

Money raised at this year's tournament will support health care programming at the hospital, particularly cardiac and stroke services.

For information about the Niagara Cup Classic, call Ann Marie Tucker, Memorial's vice president for foundation and community relations, at 716-278-4604.
