Camille Bennett and Angelica Priest, eighth-grade students at Stella Niagara Education Park, were honored at the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart annual Scholarship Brunch on Saturday, March 23.

Bennett was awarded a St. Clare Scholarship, which is given for outstanding achievement in elementary school and placing in the 90th percentile on the entrance exam. Priest received the SHA Scholar Award in recognition of her placement on the entrance exam and performance in elementary school. Both girls will be attending Sacred Heart Academy in the fall of 2013.

Sister Margaret Sullivan, principal of Stella Niagara Education Park, and retired principal Sister Nicholas Macoretta, attended the ceremony along with the families of the recipients. Both Stella Niagara Education Park and the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart are sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity.
