Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue is a newly organized, nonprofit companion animal rescue based in Niagara County. Heart of Niagara's mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. The organization's goal is to provide these rescued animals with shelter, food and medical care until a loving adoptive family can be found.

The rescue is in need of the following donated items: Purina Puppy Chow and Dog Chow, large and medium kennels/crates, and blankets. Heart of Niagara's complete "wish list" of needed items is available on its website. If you would like to donate any of these items, or if you are able to foster an animal, call 716-345-7129.
