Two of the most celebrated names in jazz will perform at Artpark's Mainstage Theater as part of the venue's summer-long 40th anniversary celebration: Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis on June 24, and Chick Corea & The Vigil on Aug. 2.
Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, April 19, at 10 a.m.
Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is comprised of 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players and led by iconic master of the trumpet Wynton Marsalis. This rare appearance and major jazz event will take place at 8 p.m. on June 24 in the Artpark Mainstage Theater. Tickets are $65 pit, $55 for prime seating, and $40 for sections A, B, and C. No lawn seating is available for this show.
Twenty-time Grammy winner and keyboard prodigy Chick Corea appeared at Artpark during the 1974 opening season. He returns with all-new music and an all-new band, The Vigil, on Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. in the Artpark Mainstage Theater. Tickets are $45 in pit and prime seating, $37 for section A, and $30 for sections B and C. No lawn seating is available for this concert.
