Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will host a dedication and blessing of its new inpatient medical-surgical unit at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The event will be held on the second floor of the hospital's Schoellkopf Building (S-2).
The fully renovated medical-surgical floor is designed to reduce stress and promote faster healing. It also emphasizes the importance of family support and provides a comfortable, homelike family resource room with a kitchenette and media center among the many amenities to help family members of hospitalized patients remain close to their loved ones.
As is the case throughout the medical center, the new unit features all private rooms at no extra charge.
