Prowl for owls with Buffalo Audubon Society

The Buffalo Audubon Society will host an Owl Prowl at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at its North Tonawanda Preserve (Klydel Wetlands) located on Raymond Street in North Tonawanda.

Join in a nocturnal search for owls with naturalist Tom Kerr. Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, call Buffalo Audubon at 585-457-3228. Cost: $5 per person.

•The Buffalo Audubon Society also will host a crepuscular hike at 6 p.m. Friday, March 29, at its North Tonawanda Preserve. See what animals are active during twilight hours. Donations will be accepted.

•Join Naturalist Chuck Bartlett at 10 a.m. at Joseph Davis State Park in Lewiston as he introduces the restoration project Buffalo Audubon will undertake this year to improve the habitat for shrub-land birds. Meet in the large parking lot by the pond. Donations will be accepted.
