Independent Health Foundation adds three new members to board of directors

The Independent Health Foundation has appointed three new members to its board of directors to serve three year terms.

Independent Health's Judith A. Feld, M.D., associate medical director, behavioral health, advanced primary and specialty care initiatives, leads the integration of behavioral health into the medical home model. Feld earned a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her residency in psychiatry at George Washington University. She holds a master's degree in public health from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and is completing a master's in medical management at the University of Southern California. She is a member of numerous professional societies and organizations, a volunteer assistant professor at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine, and serves on the board of managers for the Buffalo Museum of Science.

David W. Donovan, vice president, sales at Independent Health, oversees the organization, implementation, administration and supervision of all sales activities and development of the company's sales strategies. A graduate of Allegheny College, Donovan received dual bachelor of science degrees in biochemistry and business administration. Donovan is chairperson of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of directors for Buffalo Prep and the SPCA of Erie County.

Danny R. Gagliardo of Lewiston owns several small businesses in Western New York that are headquartered in Tonawanda; Five West Enterprises, a cable installation company; Awnings Plus; D'Avolio Olive Oil, Vinegar's and More, which has five locations; and D'Avolio Kitchen in Williamsville. Gagliardo graduated with a master's in business and public administration from Canisius College. He serves on the development and marketing committee for Serving Up Success and is a community adviser and collaborating partner for Healthy Options Buffalo.
