"SEAsonings - The Original Taste of Niagara" will be held March 7 at the Aquarium of Niagara.

Whether it's cold, chilly or freezing outside, it will be cozy comfy inside the Aquarium of Niagara as it holds its first fundraiser of the year, "SEAsonings - The Original Taste of Niagara." The popular event is March 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Whirlpool Street facility.

It's the winter event you won't want to miss. "SEAsonings" is all about tasting and enjoying good food from area restaurants and fine wines from regional wineries and other vendors.

This mouth-watering benefit for the Aquarium of Niagara and its living collection also will feature music by Premier Sound with DJ Pat Proctor, and the raffling of several great prizes from jewelry to art, all donated.

"SEAsonings" tickets are $49 per person.

Among those providing food samplings are the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, Yvonne's Bakery & Café, Four Points by Sheraton, Dominic's Little River Bar & Grill, Hard Rock Café, Just Say Cheesecake, Delaware North Parks Service, Quality Inn & Suites, Sheraton by the Falls, The Conference & Event Center, Dick & Jenny's Bake & Brew, Lebro's Restaurant, Red Coach Inn, The Village Bake Shoppe and Suzanne's Fine Dining.

Participating wineries include Long Cliff Vineyards, Heron Hill Winery and Willow Creek Winery; other beverages will be provided by Certo Brothers Distributing, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and Coffee Pause.

Piccirillo's Florist will do floral arrangements for the event. Joe Chille will emcee.

"SEAsonings" is sponsored by Greater Niagara Newspapers and Niagara Frontier Publications. Tickets are available at the Aquarium of Niagara, or by calling 716-285-3575, ext. 206, to reserve them. Tickets will be available at the door but, if possible, reservations are requested by March 1.
