Host Wayne Brady invites traders to bargain for the show's "Super Deal" - $50,000 each day for two weeks
"Let's Make A Deal," with host Wayne Brady, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with two weeks of the "Super Deal," beginning Monday, Feb. 18, which gives traders who win "The Big Deal of the Day" the opportunity to risk everything they have won and choose one of three envelopes - Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald, with cash amounts of $1,000, $2,000 or $50,000. If the trader chooses the $50,000 envelope, they walk away with the cash plus their "Big Deal of the Day."
In addition to more than $500,000 in total cash and prizes up for grabs for lucky traders, "Let's Make A Deal" will welcome back its original host, Monty Hall, who hosted the show from its inception in 1963 until 1977 and returned in 1980, 1981, 1984-86 and 1990-91. Hall's assistant, model Carol Merrill, who served as the show's first-ever model from 1963 until 1977, will also appear on "Let's Make A Deal." Both will do a deal with a trader on Friday, March 1. Hall's appearance will mark six decades of dealing with traders.
"Let's Make A Deal" is broadcast weekdays at 10 a.m. on CBS.
