Final voting for the Oscars will end on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 5 p.m. PT. Ballots received after the deadline will not be counted.
The 5,856 voting members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will have until the 19th to vote in up to 24 categories. This year, the Academy, for the first time, offered its members the option of casting their ballots online. Final voting began on Feb. 8.
The votes are being tabulated and verified by the international accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The Academy is urging members who have chosen to vote by paper ballot to return them well in advance of the deadline due to the Presidents Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 18.
Oscars for outstanding film achievements of 2012 will be presented on "Oscar Sunday," Feb. 24, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, and will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane.
