The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, will present Buddy Guy and Jonny Lang on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre, located at the Center for the Arts, North Campus.

At age 76, Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee; a major influence on rock titans such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan; a pioneer of Chicago's fabled West Side sound; and a living link to that city's halcyon days of electric blues. He has received five Grammy Awards, 28 Blues Music Awards (formerly W.C. Handy Awards), the Billboard magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone ranked him in the top 30 of its "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." He was also honored recently by the Kennedy Center.

Don't let 31-year-old Lang fool you: His appearance often belies the grizzled, blues-veteran voice for which he is famous. The Grammy-winning former child prodigy instrumentalist topped the Billboard New Artist chart with his first album at age 15 and was called "one of the most important artists to watch in the new millennium" by TIME Magazine. Today, Lang has eight critically acclaimed albums under his belt, including the Grammy-winning "Turn Around" and his newest offering, "Jonny Lang Live at the Ryman."

Tickets for Buddy Guy and Jonny Lang are $67.50, $59.50, $39.50 and $29.50. Tickets are available at the Center Box Office (weekdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and tickets.com. To charge tickets, call 1-888-223-6000. For more information, call 716-645-2787 or visit www.ubcfa.org.
