The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University has been chosen to partner with Hard Rock Café, Niagara Falls USA, for the company's 2013 charity pin project. The Castellani Art Museum will receive a portion of the proceeds from sales of the pin.

"The Castellani Art Museum is a good fit for this year's theme, 'The Art of Rock,' " said Bob Bloom, Hard Rock International's regional retail manager.

Hard Rock pin collecting has become a huge phenomenon with locations all over the world producing their own unique pins. The pin produced for this year's charity pin project will be introduced at a collector's event held in mid-March.

The Castellani Art Museum is seeking submissions for the design, which will be used to produce this year's pin. The deadline for submissions is Monday, Feb. 18, at noon. Artwork must be mailed or delivered to the Castellani Art Museum, P.O. Box 1938, Niagara University, NY 14109, attention Michael Beam. No digital submissions will be accepted. Design specifications may be downloaded at www.castellaniartmuseum.org.

The final design will be selected by the Castellani Art Museum working in collaboration with Hard Rock Café Niagara Falls. The winning artist will receive a dinner for 10 people at the rock 'n' roll restaurant.
