Angel to Apple owner Jamie Symmonds is asking for the community's help in raising funds for a new point-of-sale system for her clothing and accessories boutique in the Village of Lewiston.

Angel to Apple has been open for more than six years, and has been using the same "old-fashioned," previously owned register since 2006.

The store has grown rapidly and the need for this technology for daily operations is becoming more imminent every day. Angel to Apple is trying to raise money for the new system through a small, business-friendly website called www.GoGetFunding.com.

The store has tried several ways to get financing through other avenues, but in these hard economic times this has proven to be difficult.

Symmonds said the new technology will make transactions more efficient, thus benefiting her customers.
