Niagara Presbyterian set for Christmas

There is just something about babies and Christmas. And why not? After all, the story in Scripture tells us not just about the infant Jesus, but also his infant cousin John.

Starting the first Sunday in December, you and your children can see why the stories about these two babies make all the difference. Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. and the worship service is at 11 a.m. at Niagara Presbyterian Church, 3712 Military Road at Lockport Road, Town of Niagara.

There will be a special Christmas play set in the year 1865, and written by members of the church. It's called "An Old Fashioned Christmas," and takes place Saturday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. This is the only performance!

The animals will also arrive on Dec. 15 and the manger scene begins that same night from 7 to 10 p.m. and continues every night through and including Tuesday, Dec. 25. Bring your family to see the animals and then go inside to warm up and enjoy free food and live music in the "Bethlehem Inn." There are 11 nights of the living nativity - do not miss it.

And then we get to the climax of the season with worship services on Dec. 23, 24 and 25. For these three days, participants will look at the theme of "Christmas Presents."

On Christmas Eve you have two options: a contemporary candlelight service at 7 p.m. and a traditional candlelight service at 11 p.m. And Dec. 25, we have a special 10 a.m. worship service. Come each day for a new message.
