Do you want to help your children discover the magic of the North Pole this holiday season? If so, the Medina Railroad Museum has the perfect idea for your family: A "Polar Express" train ride is just the ticket. You'll feel like you're in your own "Polar Express" book and movie adventure.

The Medina Railroad Museum's "Polar Express" is a one-hour train ride adventure that allows children to experience the classic story of the same name. Children will receive hot cocoa and cookies as they make their way to the "North Pole" via train tracks. And guess who will be their waiting? None other than Santa himself, who will make the return trip on the train visiting with the children. Santa Claus even has a special memento for each child making the winter Christmas trip - their very own "magic sleigh bell."

This is Media RR's second year hosting "Polar Express" and the staff has added more dates and cars to each train to accommodate the overwhelming demand. They've also added a vintage 1948 Apollo dining car for first-class passengers. This will allow for families to comfortably sit together and interact with the "Polar" character and with Mr. and Mrs. Clause.

Along with this upgraded seating, passengers ($45 per ticket for anyone over 2 years old) will receive their own "Polar Express" ceramic souvenir cocoa mug and whipped cream topping on their cocoa. (No first-class seating at 3:30 p.m. on the early bird special).

Standard admission tickets are $23 for the early bird special (3:30 p.m. ride) or $28 for 4:40 and 5:55 p.m. rides. Children ages 2 and under ride for free. For more information or to purchase tickets, visitwww.railroadmuseum.net.
